Scanmailbox is a Perl script that allows you to delete large messages directly on the POP mail server(s). For each of the servers you have defined, it displays the number of messages present and their respective sizes. If the size of a message exceeds the maximum size indicated in the configuration file, scanmailbox displays the first 10 lines of the file and suggests that you delete it.
