Les Royaumes Renaissants is an online game, free, international, and truly multiplayer. Playable entirely in a web browser, without ing, it mixes styles and simultaneously offers a role-playing, management, strategy and politics game.

You will be immersed in the medieval Europe of the 1450s, starting as a simple vagrant in a village where all the inhabitants are embodied by other players. Through encounters, perseverance and even travel to other villages, counties and kingdoms, you will climb the ladder one by one and be able to participate actively in the political, religious, economic and festive life of the kingdoms.

Let’s say it right away: if you want to become a level 100 as strong as a god and slaughter your three dragons a day, then it’s not necessarily the game that will meet your expectations. The fundamental driving force of the Renaissance Kingdoms is the interaction between players: if you want to progress in the hierarchy or become influential, you will have to discuss, convince, negotiate… in short, it is a rich and complex game, which puts human relationships at the heart of everything.

All the characters you will meet are players similar to you: the carpenter, the baker from whom you buy bread, the miller who produces flour, the travelling merchant who imports wheat from far away… and even the mayor of your village, the bailiff of your county, the judge, the army leaders or the Queen of ! There is no “non-player character” here, all possible freedoms are left to the players, including the wrong roles: robbers, pirates, agioteurs, conspirators of all kinds. And you are never limited to just one role, you can cumulate. Work as a carpenter to help build a ship and patrol the rest of the week as a soldier in the county army!

“From pig farming to European geostrategy”

This vast world extends all over Europe, in 25 languages: you can take the boat and cross the Channel to drink a pint with the English, speak Spanish with Castilian sailors, or cross Europe from the Holy Roman Empire in to Bohemia (if you speak Czech!), and the Ottoman Empire. But keep yourself informed, during your journey, of the political situation of the States you are crossing, and of the ongoing conflicts: being on a battlefield is a rather inadvisable experience!

But these adventures may not be for you. Perhaps you want to make a living by exploiting your fields and raising animals, or by making rare objects for international trade (tapestries, local spirits, etc.). And why not open a tavern, or make a fortune in business? The money you earn could allow you, for example, to finance an election campaign to become mayor – or simply to live a happy life without leaving your village.
