KYMS is at first glance a standard calculator but when you take a closer look, you will see several elements of your private space hidden. It is a free application that allows you to hide and protect your private photos, videos and documents with a 4-digit . KYMS goes so far as to reproduce the true characteristics of a calculator to fool the curious little ones. Indeed, it displays on your dashboard an icon representing a calculator. Once the application is open, you are faced with a standard calculator that can perform calculations.

To access your private space, simply enter the (previously chosen) on the calculator and press’=’ (Equal). The KYMS interface is simple and has 5 menus:

  • the action menu where you can add new folders, disconnect from the application and social networks, import from iDevices and update to the paid version,
  • the list of folders where the number of files is detailed,
  • the integrated browser that offers the possibility to launch s of photos and videos in the background,
  • the status of s,
  • parameters including:
    • feature activations such as the panic gesture that closes the application when you cover the screen with your hand, scaling images and the additional ,
    • resetting the ,
    • browser options enable you to delete cookies and history,
    • assistance, information.

Note that KYMS can import media files from multiple sources: from your camera, the library on your iOS device, albums on your Facebook and those of your friends, your PC or MAC by WiFi transfer or with a USB cable, from iTunes or simply by creating text files using the built-in word processing function.

The only downside is that the free version limits the number of folders that can be created to 3.
